Our coaches are passionate about creating positive, inclusive and high-quality netball experiences for every athlete. All of our coaches are either Netball Australia accredited or actively working towards their accreditation and hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Coaching development is a key priority at Sorrento Saints. We are proud to have a strong network of experienced mentor coaches who provide guidance, feedback and ongoing support throughout the season. We invest in our coaches through specialist skills workshops, pre-season training and planning, injury prevention education and ongoing professional develop opportunities.
We are committed to developing the next generation of coaches. Assistant Coaches are thoughtfully paired with experienced Head Coaches, providing valuable mentoring and hands-on learning opportunities to build their confidence and coaching capability.
Coach allocations are determined by our Coach Coordinator, who carefully considers each coach’s experience, qualifications, strengths, development goals and coaching aspirations. This ensures every team is supported by coaches who are best placed to foster player development while continuing to grow in their own coaching journey.
These commitment ensures our coaches are equipped with the knowledge, confidence and support to help every athlete thrive.
